I enjoy designing things for commercial ends and making things for no ends at all.
I have collaborated on rugs, wallpaper, objects, mats, socks, shapes, layers , knits and more.
I mostly think of myself as a collector and recorder.
This sums up my practice well.
These remain my favorite projects to date.
I think about this piece often.
This is also joyous.
Below are some things that were speaking to me at the time of finding images. I would probably pick different images today and that feels exactly right.
Altar 3
Sketch for tiny alters. A message can be engraved in the music box. The song is "You're So Cool " by Hans Zimmer. The vessel can hold ashes, hair, picked things, glitter, tears....

It takes roughly 16 min for a droplet of water to evaporate.

other bodies
Casts from broken shells - an ongoing series. At some point I will pick a favorite and make it into a limited edition brooch.
Sketch for shell spirits- large scale shell sculptures to be placed in different landscapes. They are hollow inside with different chimes hanging in them to catch the wind through the holes. The sounds serve as messages from loved ones or guidance to let go. A fun way to collaborate with the wind.

Scenes from a play: A leaf fall from what has been holding it for awhile. On the ground it finds a discarded box. They play. Both are unsure if what they are feeling is loss or connection.
The end
Safety Glove- the only thing I made in school that I kept. It's the only thing I have ever made that has always been visible somewhere in plain sight.
Secret message for like minded women
WHEN YOU CAN'T SEEM TO FORGIVE SOMEONE: Cut a piece of string at least 12 inches long. Drop it twelve times. After each drop, record how it lands- draw it, or photograph it. Then tie the string to a branch outside, and watch it move with the wind.
